Shadouyou is designed with a local-first approach. For tools that run entirely in your browser (such as image compression, format conversion, and many PDF utilities), files you select are typically processed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers by default. In those cases, we cannot access the contents of your files.

If a feature requires a network request or server-side processing, we will disclose that clearly on the relevant tool page. Files or data will not be sent until you choose to proceed.

After processing, download and retention of output files are your responsibility. We do not keep copies of your uploaded or processed files on our servers unless a specific feature page states otherwise and you have agreed.

To operate, secure, and improve the services, and to comply with applicable law, we may collect limited information such as: usage logs (e.g., access time, page path), approximate device/browser information, information you voluntarily submit via feedback forms, and cookies or similar technologies for essential preferences or aggregated analytics.
