User Agreement

This User Agreement is a legally binding agreement between you and Shadouyou regarding your use of the services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

This User Agreement (the “Agreement”) is entered into between the operator of Shadouyou (“we”, “us”) and you, the user. It includes these terms and any related rules or notices we publish.

By accessing or using any part of the services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement. If you are under 18, you must review this Agreement with a parent or guardian and obtain their consent before use.

2. Description of Services

Shadouyou provides online utility tools and related informational pages, including image tools, PDF tools, text/codec utilities, and everyday helpers. Features available are as displayed on the site.

Most tools run locally in your browser. Features that require servers or third-party capabilities will be disclosed on the relevant pages. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features as reasonably needed.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the services lawfully and in good faith. You must not: violate laws or public order; infringe intellectual property or other rights; upload malware; attack, scrape, disrupt, or bypass security controls; use the services for fraud or unauthorized commercial exploitation; or engage in other misuse we reasonably deem improper.

4. User Content

You are solely responsible for content you upload, input, process, or export, and you represent that you have all rights necessary to do so. We do not undertake substantive review of user content, but may remove or restrict content or access as required by law or this Agreement.

5. Intellectual Property

Software, UI, copy, trademarks, and other site materials (excluding user-provided content) are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit them without prior written permission.

Local processing does not transfer ownership of your original files. Rights in derivative outputs are determined by applicable law and any arrangements between you and relevant rights holders.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or absolute accuracy of processing results.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from network issues, device incompatibility, force majeure, third-party services, your own actions, or breaches of this Agreement. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to a particular use of the services shall not exceed fees you paid us for that use (if any); if the services are free, liability is disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Changes, Suspension, and Termination

We may change, suspend, or terminate all or part of the services for operational, security, or compliance reasons. We may immediately restrict or terminate access if you materially breach this Agreement or applicable law.

8. Privacy

Our handling of information relating to you is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of this Agreement. In the event of conflict regarding personal information processing, the Privacy Policy prevails.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

This Agreement is governed by the laws of mainland China, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall first be resolved through friendly consultation; failing that, either party may bring suit before a court with jurisdiction over our domicile.

10. Miscellaneous

If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. We may amend this Agreement by posting updates on this page; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Contact us via “Feedback & Suggestions” with any questions.
